2. Getting Started

2.1 What is NextHit?

NextHit is a pre‑release analytics platform that predicts a track's hit potential before you invest in marketing. Upload unreleased audio, and our AI delivers a Hit Score report within minutes.

2.2 Minimum Requirements

2.3 How to Run Your First Analysis

  1. Click ➕ New Analysis in your dashboard.
  2. Drag‑and‑drop your track (or multiple versions).
  3. Select "Compare Versions" if needed.
  4. Hit Run Analysis – results arrive in ~3 minutes.

3. Uploading & Analysis

3.1 Supported Formats & Metadata

We parse embedded ID3/RIFF tags to pre‑fill track title and artist. Any missing fields can be edited before submission.

3.2 Version Comparison

Upload up to 5 versions of the same track NextHit assigns a Relative Score and recommends the strongest version based on listener‑likelihood modelling.

3.3 Data Privacy

All uploads are encrypted at rest (AES‑256) and in transit (TLS 1.3). Files are auto‑deleted after 180 days or sooner if you click Delete Analysis.

6. Troubleshooting

Issue Quick Fix
Upload stuck at 0 % Check file size (<200 MB) & format. Disable VPN. Retry.
Analysis takes >10 min Large files queue slower during peak hours. If still pending, contact us via email.
"Report failed to generate" Click Retry once. Persistent? Send us email for support.
Can't log in? Clear your cookies and try again or use incognito mode.
Billing declined Verify card funds, address, or try alternate method.
